1. Who is responsible
The operator of Tennect is the controller responsible for personal data processed through this website. For privacy questions or requests, contact tennect@outlook.com.
2. Data we process
- Consent choice: whether you allow or decline analytics, stored locally in your browser.
- Analytics data, only after consent: page views, session statistics, interactions with feature cards and download links, approximate location, browser and device information, language, timestamps and a pseudonymous client identifier.
- Technical data: our hosting provider may process standard request and security logs such as IP address, requested URL, time, response status and user agent.
- Contact data: if you email us, we process your email address and the information included in your message.
Website analytics does not include data from your Tennect account, player profile, precise app location, private messages or match history.
3. Why we use data and our legal bases
- We use optional analytics to understand website visits, feature interest and download actions. The legal basis is your consent.
- We use technical information to deliver and secure the website and prevent abuse, based on our legitimate interests in operating a safe and reliable service.
- We use contact messages to answer your request, take steps you ask for before entering a contract, or pursue our legitimate interest in providing support.
- We may keep information where necessary to comply with law or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Analytics, cookies and local storage
We use Google Analytics 4 only after you select “Allow analytics.”
Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as
_ga and _ga_<container-id> to
distinguish visits and sessions. We also store
tennect-analytics-consent in local storage so the site
remembers your choice.
If you decline, we do not load the Google Analytics tag. To change your choice later, delete cookies and site data for the Tennect website and reload the page. The consent panel will appear again.
5. Analytics events
We measure ordinary page views and the following Tennect-specific events:
-
select_contentwhen a visitor opens a feature or gallery detail; -
app_download_clickwhen a visitor follows an App Store download link.
Event parameters may describe the selected card, its placement, website language and app store. They are not designed to contain names, email addresses or free-form user content.
6. Service providers and recipients
- Google Analytics: website measurement after consent. Google may process data under its applicable terms and privacy policy.
- Vercel: website hosting, delivery and security.
- Apple: if you follow an App Store link, Apple processes the resulting visit under its own privacy policy.
- Authorities or advisers where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and security.
We do not sell personal data.
7. International transfers
Google, Vercel or their service providers may process data outside your country or the European Economic Area. Where required, these transfers are protected by recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
8. Retention
- Your consent choice remains in local storage until you clear the website’s site data.
- User- and event-level Google Analytics data is retained for no longer than 14 months, unless we select a shorter period.
- Technical logs are kept according to our hosting provider’s security and retention settings.
- Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer and follow up, meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.
Aggregated statistics that no longer identify an individual may be kept for longer.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of your personal data. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
You may also complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work. In Serbia, this is the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
10. Children
This promotional website is not designed to collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the website, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections and restricted access. However, no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
12. External links
Our website links to external services, including the App Store and legal documents for the Tennect app. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this website policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date will be published at this address.
